Hello gorgeous!

Yesterday I talked about what you'd wear on the 4th, today I'm going to talk about what you will WANT to eat on the 4th!
These are 3 easy recipes that will make you and your tummy smile!

1- Red, White and Blue Popsicles

These red, white and blue popsicles aka 4th of July pops are a little bit of work but so worth it. The red is watermelon, the white is coconut and the blue is blueberry.
For the watermelon layer, blend lots of watermelon and pour it on a pops mold around a third of the way. Let it completely freeze before you pour the next layer!
For the coconut layer, you'll use coconut milk and , if you really want that kick of coconut, coconut extract. Once again, pour it into the mold, covering another third, and let it completely freeze. Also, you'll want to stick a wooden stick on the pops, before this middle layer is completely frozen!
On the blueberry layer, blend blueberries and add a few drops of blue food coloring, and fill in the rest of the mold.
After all the layers are frozen all you have to do is get your pops out of the mold and enjoy!

2- Red, White and Blue Ombre Cake
This is a very tall cake and takes a little time to assemble and bake.
You will want to use either 2 to 3 boxes of cake mix or make your own cake batter, and divide the batter into 9 bowls (or 10, depending on how many white layers you want!)
For the red layers, place 4 drops of red food coloring into a bowl, 3 into another, 2 drops on the 3rd bowl and one single drop on the 4th. You'll want to do the same with the blue. This will give you a great gradient effect! For the white, just pour as many drops as needed of white food coloring on your batter.
Bake all the different batters separately, and let them completely cool down before you assemble the cake! For the icing, you can do red, blue or white icing, placing thing icing layers between the cake layers, so they stick together! Your last step will be covering the whole cake with icing and decorate it as you please!

3- Vanilla Bean Doughnuts
There are just adorable and really easy to make!
In a large bowl sift together flour, sugar, baking power, and salt.
In a smaller bowl lightly beat eggs, then add buttermilk, butter, vanilla extract, and seeds from one vanilla bean. Then, you'll want to combine both mixes together.
Fill each doughnut pan about 2 thirds full, and bake your doughnuts for 7 to 9 minutes. Once baked, allow them to cool down before removing them from the pan!
For the icing, pour vanilla glaze into 3 bowls, and pour red, blue and white food coloring into each of them.
Once all the doughnuts are completely cooled down and out of the pan, dip them into the glazes, and sprinkle them with little stars and other sprinkles as you like!

Have a wonderful day!
