Oscar, is it you?
Sunday, March 02, 2014
Hello gorgeous!
How's the Sunday going? Tonight something quite special happens, can you guess what it is? YES, it's the Oscars!
Regardless of the price tag, the Oscars and it's dresses are one of the most emblematic and special things happening in the world (well, on the glam world, it is!).
Left to right: Audrey Hepburn (1954), Elizabeth Taylor (1957), Barbra Streisand (1969) |
From left to right: Louise Fletcher (1976), Sissy Spacek (1981), Cher (1988) |
Left to right: Gwyneth Paltrow (1999), Halle Berry (2002), Hilary Swank (2005) |
Left to right: Marion Cotillard (2008), Sandra Bullock (2010), Natalie Portman (2011), Jennifer Lawrence (2013) |
How can you not love these looks?! My favorites are J. Law and Audrey! Which are yours? I'm actually typing this while watching the red carpet (if you were around the internet, you know the kind of problems everyone had!). Now, talking about that 10$ dress, Winona Ryder's iconic Oscar appearance was made in a, you guess it, 10 dollar vintage dress, showing that in Hollywood, not all dresses are Hollywood expensive!
What did you think about the first Oscars dedicated post? Let me know on the comments bellow! I'll be covering the entire ceremony on twitter, @thefashioncafe_ , so come chat with me!
Have a wonderful day!
