This look has a very basic base - a good pair of high-waist jeans is an absolute MUST. This pair by Topshop is very easy to put on and it's dark denim wash make them super versatile.  Another must is a white button up shirt. This one is by H&M  and it has a soft high-low hem and cuffed quarter length sleeves, making it not only cute but perfect for layering. Another thing you'll need in your closet is a pair of simple black slip on sneakers. They are so comfortable and easy to get on, plus they are very fashionable as well! These ones are by Forever 21. 

Moving on to the fun stuff, a basic look can ALWAYS be upgraded with a nice jacket. I chose a wide cut jacket in the most beautiful dark teal color by H&M to polish the look a little bit, without looking like you tried too hard. 

Accessories wise, I kept everything minimal, dainty and classical. The rings and watch are both from Topshop (rings -> here ; watch -> here), the necklace and scarf are from H&M (necklace -> here ; Scarf -> here) and the backpack is by Topshop as well! 

For college, you want to keep your makeup soft and easy but with a little something special. Starting with your base, liquid foundation is the way to go and don't forget to set it with powder! You might be dealing with dark circles, a concealer will be your BFF. Just apply the concealer where you need it after buffing your foundation into your skin, then just take a big fluffy brush and press a light layer of powder on your skin! The concealer is from Maybelinne, the foundation is by L'Oreal and the powder is by NYX. 

Another important thing about effortless and fresh makeup is color - your cheeks and lips shall bring life to your complexion. Swiping a rosy blush on your cheeks, softly bronzing your complexion and using a rosy pink lipstick will do wonders! The blush and bronzer duo is by ELF the lipstick is by L'Oreal. 

You will also want to bring attention your eyes and make them stand out, so stick with nude colors, that you can quickly apply and rush out the door. A good palette is a great idea ( this one is by Smashbox), as well as black liquid eye liner - in a pen form -  (L'Oreal)/ black khol liner (Maybelline) and a nude khol eye liner in your waterline to bring more brightness to your face (NYX) , and a great mascara to really open up your eyes, again by Maybelline. 

Oh one more thing! You can't forget about your brows! They frame your face and pull your look together! A good brow kit is a great thing to keep in hand, since it's easy and will help frame your face flawlessly. This on is by ELF.  

I also wanted to include a coupe of things that you should carry with you all the time . Hair ties and bobby pins - You just NEVER know when you'll have a hairmergency, so keep them close! The hair ties are by CyndiBands and the bobby pins are by Sephora. 

Lip balm is also very important, since it keeps your lips moisturized and protected! The one I chose is by Barry M and it has SPF 15 and a beautiful tinted and moisturinzing finish! 

Blotting sheets - aka life savers! Just press them on your skin if you get that odd shine on your face and voilá! Oil free complexion in seconds! This one is by Boscia and it has Green Tree to sooth your skin and absorve extra oils and reduce shine without messing your makeup.

A dewy finish setting spray will go hand in hand with your blotting sheets, since it will bring back life into your skin, hydrate it and help your makeup last all day. This one is by NYX. 

Lastly, but surely NOT least, a mini deodorant. No one wants PO right? Keep it with you and re-apply when you feel like you need to freshen up! This little deodorant is by Secret.
