Hello gorgeous!

So in the beginning of April I made a little trip to one of the best European cosmetic brands: Kiko Cosmetics.
I am sure you have already heard about this brand and how fantastic their products are, and today I bring you my impression on 2 of their products, the costumer service and their returning policy.

Starting off with the costumer service, the ladies at Kiko were absolutely lovely to me, making my entire shopping experience there pleasant and enjoyable. I already knew I wanted lip products, and they helped me acknowledge their lipstick and lip pencil formulas, which made it a lot easier for me to decided which to chose.
Another thing to have in mind when shopping at Kiko is that you can't return a product you didn't quite enjoy and have your money back. What they offer you is the chance of exchanging the product you didn't like for another one or for a couple of products, without passing the initial price point.
This can be quite handy, since I've got friends who experienced some awkward situations at the store for this exact reason. However, it's always nice to know that you can return the product and try something else.

Moving on into the actual goodies, I got a lipstick and a lip pencil from them.

Ultra Glossy Lip Pencil in Amaranth (#613):

This lip pencil feels like butter on your lips (in the best way possible, of course!), it's incredibly glossy and feels really comfortable on the lips.
The color is absolutely gorgeous. It's a pink-ish plum color, that ins't too light or too dark. It has a high content of emollient oils, which will also nourish your lips. It also has a soft red berries scent, that isn't really perceptible on the lips.

The two things I really loved about this lip pencil is the way you can control the amount of color you get. You can lightly fill in your lips for a stain-like effect or layer the pencil a couple of times for a very opaque color. I also loved the staying power it has. I wore this color a couple of times already and after setting it lightly with a translucent powder, it lasted me ALL DAY, I'm not kidding, I ate, drank, talked a lot and the product was still in my lips, pretty much untouched. I mean, How fantastic is that?! BUT if you don't like setting your lips, I don't find the lasting power of this lip pencil to be anything out of ordinary. Without setting, the color started to bleed off of my lips after 5 hours, but it didn't leave my lips looking weird and patchy, it wore off really seamlessly.

Smart Lipstick in True Red (#908):

This lipstick is absolutely AMAZING. Just like the lip pencil, it has emollient oils, giving you a very comfortable wear, but it isn't super glossy, it has a very nice full finish to it.
The color is perfectly named: this is a true red, which means it isn't neither blue based or orange based, it's simply red. This gives the color a very neutral feel, which means anyone can wear it: from fair skin tones to darker tones.

This lipstick also has a very nice vanilla scent to it, without being noticeable after you apply it.
What I love about this lipstick is the fact that it wears like a charm, but also the pigmentation it has. It lasted me all day after setting it. When I didn't set it, the lipstick lasted me 6 hours, and I noticed major bleeding into the inside lines of my lips (where both my top and lower lip meet), which ticked me... a lot.
Other than that, this is great budget friendly lipstick, with fantastic quality.

What did you think of today's blog post? Would you try any of these products out? Let me know on the comments bellow!

Have a lovely day
