Blogmas Day 1! DIY Christmas Advent Calendar

Sunday, December 01, 2013

Good morning sweet hearts and welcome to the very 1st Blogmas post!

Today, we'll talk about the thing that makes everyone excited about Christmas (is that even possible), a Christmas advent calendar!

I was searching around and I found this one out! A eco friendly Christmas Advent!

What you'll need:

  • 24 used rolls
  • cardboard
  • multi purpose glue
  • a pair of scissors
  • a glue stick
  • twine
  • brown paper
  • a computer with printer attached.
Start off by chose your favorite font and typing down the numbers for your calendar (from 1 to 24). Once you've got that, print them in brown paper!
Cut it in circles and glue them to the toilet paper rolls.
Get a rectangular piece of cardboard, and place the used rolls on top of it , making sure they all fit.
Stuff the rolls with candy or other small gifts and glue them to the cardboard.
For decoration, create a cardboard roof and chimney! It should look something like this:

Use twine to hang it wherever you want to, and have fun!

Don't forget to check Want Like Now's post either! She made another one of these! Just take a look: WLN

What do you think of today's Blogmas? What will you on the 1st day of the coolest (literally) month of the year? Let me know on the comments bellow!
